Alloy characteristic
1. All kinds of corrosive media in oxidation and reduction environments have excellent corrosion resistance
2. Excellent resistance to point corrosion and crevice corrosion, and will not produce stress corrosion cracking caused by chloride
3. Excellent resistance to inorganic acid corrosion, such as nitric acid, phosphoric acid, sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid and the mixed acid of sulfuric acid and hydrochloric acid
4. Excellent corrosion resistance of various inorganic acid mixed solutions
5. When the temperature reaches 40℃, it can show good corrosion resistance in hydrochloric acid solutions of various concentrations
6. Good processability and weldability, no post-welding cracking sensitivity
7. With the wall temperature of -196 ~ 450℃ pressure vessel manufacturing certification
8. Certified by the American Society of Corrosion Engineers NACE Standard (MR-01-75) to meet the highest standard grade VII for use in acidic gas environments
Application field
The softened and annealed low carbon alloy 625 is widely used in the chemical process industry, and its better corrosion resistance and high strength enable it to be used as a thinner structural component. 625 alloy can be used in contact with seawater and subjected to high mechanical stress. Typical application areas:
1. Parts of organic chemical processes containing chlorides, especially where acid chloride catalysts are used
2. Digesters and bleaching tanks for the pulp and paper industry
3. Absorption tower, reheater, flue gas inlet baffle, fan (wet), agitator, baffle and flue in flue gas desulfurization system
4. For the manufacture of equipment and components for use in acidic gas environments
5. Acetic acid and acetic anhydride reaction generator
6. Sulfuric acid condenser
