Monel K-500 alloy has corrosion resistance comparable to that of 400, but it features higher mechanical strength and hardness. It also has good heat corrosion resistance and long-term microstructure stability. It is mainly used to manufacture turbine blades and gas turbine blades for aircraft engines operating at temperatures below 750°C; it is also used to make fasteners and springs for ships, as well as pump and valve components for chemical equipment.
 
FEATURE
1. Corrosion resistance: It has good resistance to strong corrosive media such as chloride ions, hydrogen sulfide, and hydrofluoric acid, and can be used in harsh marine environments.
2. High-temperature strength: It can maintain high strength and hardness at high temperatures and is suitable for use in high-temperature environments.
3. Good processing performance: It can be processed through various methods such as casting, forging, and welding.
