Alloy 718 has excellent corrosion resistance at high and low temperatures and good resistance to stress-corrosion cracking and pitting corrosion. Alloy 718 has good performance in hostile environments containing H2S, CO2, chlorides, sulfides and free sulfur at selected temperatures.
