Inconel 601 nickel-based alloy is a high-performance alloy material. It features outstanding high-temperature corrosion resistance, oxidation resistance, as well as excellent cold and hot working and welding properties. These characteristics have enabled it to be widely applied in multiple fields such as heat treatment, chemical engineering, aerospace, and nuclear industry, making it an indispensable material for numerous critical equipment and components.

FEATURE

It has excellent oxidation resistance at high temperatures.

It has good anti-carbonization properties.

It also has good oxidation resistance in high-temperature sulfur-containing atmospheres.

It has excellent mechanical properties at both room temperature and high temperatures.

It has good resistance to stress corrosion cracking. Due to the controlled carbon content and grain size, 601 has a high creep rupture strength, and is therefore recommended for use above 500°C.
