Precision Alloy 4j36 Nickel Alloy invar 36
Precision alloy 4J36, also known as Invar 36, is a nickel-iron alloy that exhibits low thermal expansion characteristics. It is composed of 36% nickel and 64% iron, and has a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE) at temperatures ranging from -250°C to 200°C. This makes it an ideal material for applications where dimensional stability and accuracy are critical, such as precision instruments, scientific instruments, and aerospace components.
Invar 36 is also known for its high strength, excellent toughness, and good weldability. It is resistant to corrosion in most environments and can be easily machined and formed. It is often used in applications where high dimensional stability is required, such as optical and laser systems, microwave tubes, and electronic components.
