4J36, also known as Kovar alloy, is a low-expansion alloy containing iron, nickel and cobalt. The Curie point of 4J36 expansion alloy is approximately 230℃. Below this temperature, the alloy is ferromagnetic and has a very low expansion coefficient. Above this temperature, the alloy is non-magnetic and the expansion coefficient increases. This alloy is mainly used to manufacture components with nearly constant dimensions within the range of temperature changes and is widely used in the radio industry, precision instruments, meters and other industries.
FEATURE
● It has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion between -250℃ and +200℃.
● It has excellent plasticity and toughness.
