0Cr23Al5 is an iron-chromium-aluminum electric heating alloy. It is widely used in the manufacturing of industrial heating equipment, household appliances and high-temperature components due to its excellent High temperature resistance, oxidation resistance and stable resistance characteristics. The alloy is based on iron and forms a solid solution strengthening phase by adding chromium, aluminum and other elements, giving the material long-term stability in high temperature environments.
 
FEATURE
  • Oxidation resistance: The oxidation resistance is significantly better than that of ordinary Stainless Steel.
  • High temperature resistance: Maintains stable performance in high or even ultra-high temperature environments.
  • Electrical conductivity: It has good electrical conductivity and can meet the requirements of electrical conductivity of heating elements of electric heating equipment.
  • Mechanical strength: It has high strength and hardness and can withstand large loads and impacts.
  • Anti-permeability: It is suitable for carbon-containing atmosphere environments (such as carburizing furnaces) and is not prone to embrittlement.

PHYSICAL PROPERTIES
Resistivity: 1.25-1.35, moderate resistance value, suitable as an electric heating element.
Melting point: about 1500°C, structural stability can be maintained at high temperatures.
Density: 7.1~7.3 g/cm³, lightweight properties are better than nickel-based alloys.
 
MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Tensile strength:  at room temperature ≥650MPa
Elongation:  ≥12%
High temperature strength gradually decreases with increasing temperature, but it can still maintain a certain plasticity at 800°C.
 
APPLICATION AREA
  1. Industrial electric furnace: spiral or wavy heating elements used to manufacture box furnaces and tube furnaces, which can withstand high temperatures for a long time.
  2. Household appliances: core materials for electric heating tubes in electric ovens and electric water heaters, taking into account both safety and cost.
  3. Aerospace: heating elements for high-temperature test equipment to meet stability requirements in special environments.
  4. Laboratory equipment: resistance wires for high-temperature muffle furnaces and atmosphere protection furnaces, supporting precision temperature control experiments.
